Description

This adventure starts with a drive of about 40 minutes through the island of São Miguel, first crossing from the south to the north coast. Where is possible to see vast green fields divided by walls of volcanic rocks. Already on the North coast, wonder breathtaking views over the high cliffs and unique sight of the only tea plantation in Europe.

Arriving at Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões one of the most popular places in Nordeste region, with its splendid diverse green vegetation, clear and fresh waters that create beautiful waterfalls, and the tranquility of a magical place. Last but not least, beautiful water mills that will take you back in time. The activity starts with the equipment distribution to participants, followed by a short walk of about 20 minutes, until the entry point in the stream, where the safety briefing takes place.

Entering the stream, one can count with a diversity of vertical challenges ( about 8 meters), alternating with small walking sections and a more playful area, with a water slide and several jumps, one with 5 meter high. After a light snack, the challenge extends the waterfalls with about 10 meters, in a mostly closed area of the stream. Double the length, double the fun!

The performance of the activities is subject to weather conditions and logistics.

🕒 Schedules and meeting points:
09:00 or 12:00 - Meeting Point
10:00 or 13:00 - Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões: the beginning of the activity
12h30 ou 15h30 – Exit from the steam
14h00 ou 17h00 – Arrival at Ponta Delgada and end of the activity

⚠ Minimum equipment necessary:
Swimsuit, shoes with hard soles for the activity (Tennis/boots), towel, sunscreen, one change of clothes ( with extra shoes) to wear after the activity. It is recommended that participants tie their hair (if applicable).

Lycra Shirt, neoprene gloves, proof bag (to keep the phone and/or the camera).
