Description
We present a workshop connected to the history and culture of our region, a bread workshop.
Bread is probably the base food for Portuguese gastronomy, there exist different types of bread throughout Portugal but the best known is probably the Alentejano Bread. In Portugal bread is used in a variety of culinary dishes, such as lamb stew, migas de pão (bread stewed with garlic, olive oil, etc), gazpacho or açorda and rabanadas (a type of French toast), among many other recipes.
When the bread isn’t part of the recipe it normally still accompanies the meal.
