Game of Thrones Filming Location in Split AKA Meereen
Tour starts from the City Map just outside the old town, we walk towards the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Diocletian’s Palace, right where the center of Split meets the sea. wander the streets of Meereen, the palace basements and Daenarys’ throne room, Then step into the cellars where the slaves worked with the Unsullied Army and Grey Worm to crush their leaders.
Drive towards fortress of Klis, After hop into our Air conditioned van and head to the mountainside, 20 min ride. During the ride, hear the backstage stories from the time of filming the Famous HBO show. After Klis, you and our guide hop again into van to a 600-year-old stone water mill on the Zrnovica River that still mills flour to this day. This water mill and the Zrnovica River that runs along side of it were the setting of several scenes from Game of Thrones as well. Then return to Split and drop off at the City Map.
