Description
We present a guided tour for adventurers and for who isn’t scared of long upward slopes. The beginning of this trail crosses many times the Arade Stream that has water almost all year round and contains streamside vegetation connected to a faunistic richness. The built heritage connected to agriculture is dominant, such as norias, weirs, water channels, and water mills, etc. Malhão is one of the highest points in the Serra do Caldeirão, it offers a unique site presenting a view as far as the sea on the horizon. The climb to Malhão is long but at the same time rewarding.
