Off-Road Quad Tour in Albufeira 7H

After giving you an all important safety briefing, we will ride on the off-road countryside covering a variety of terrain with panoramic views and steep inclines where your skills will be proven. Special highlights to the amazing landscape views and old ruins on the way. Lunch is included and will take place in a typical Portuguese restaurant. We expect to return to base at 5pm.


CASTELO DE PADERNE
The Castle of Paderne is an ancient fortification located in the civil parish of Paderne, municipality of Albufeira, in the Portuguese Algarve. It was constructed in the later 12th century by Berbers, in an area around 7.5 kilometres (4.7 mi) inland. The edifice is located just 8.2 kilometres (5.1 mi) from the resort town of Albufeira. It is believed to be one of the original castles that occupy the shield of the Portuguese national flag.

A swimming suit is a must for this tour. There will be time for a refreshing swim in Alte Springs and relax in the small Village.

ROCHA DA PENA
A steep cornice of very hard limestones, whose plateau is approximately 2 km long and a escarpment with about 50 meters of height. The maximum altitude of this place is 479 meters. Over the years, its limestone has undergone a slow chemical erosion, carving new cracks and caves on the rock.
