Description
The site of Castro Marim, whose wealth is reflected by more than 200 species all year round, is one of the 10 most important wetlands for birds in Portugal.
The observation of birds such as the Little Bustard, the Slender-Billed Gull, the Spectacled Warbler, are some of the highlights in this natural reserve. This wetland is the only place in Portugal where the Lesser Short-Toed Lark nests and can be observed.
In this natural reserve, we claim to proceed to the observation (according to the highest standards of respect for nature) of resident and migrating birds all year round, in groups of up to 6 persons accompanied by a guide. In this area, the experience will last 4 to 8 hours (including transport and meal breaks).
