This amazing road trip where you are in control of everything will guide you first through Intendente, one of the trendiest places in Lisbon that used to be a junkie zombie heaven, possibly lethal to any fool that would wander there in the late ’80s and ’90s.

You will then pass in Martim Moniz Square, the most multicultural area of the city and the landing deck of Mouraria (Moorish) neighborhood where some say Fado was born, from the Moorish people singing and their melancholic sounds.

Carry on to Chiado, once the center of intellectual life where writers and artists like Fernando Pessoa had their absinthe and bica (expresso). Next stop, Bairro Alto!
Now filled with bars, you will drive along the narrow Rua da Rosa (Rose Street) which runs through the Bairro from one extreme to the other.

After watching where most of the Lisboetas have their pub crawls, you start your descent to Cais do Sodré and the famous pink street. Once boiling with drunken sailors chasing the love of prostitutes is now the capital’s hotspot for cocktails!

From here on the adventure becomes bumpy while crossing Santos Design District, with bars and clubs specialized in ingenious alcohol shots, an area that is home to the famous house described in the novel The Maias by Eça de Queiroz and most recently, the house where Madonna lives.

To end this cool and trendy road trip, you arrive at LX Factory, Lisbon’s version of Andy Warhol studio and home to countless artists and where some have turned this old abandoned industrial complex into their canvas. Here you will find street art like no other by the hands of artists like Vhils, one of the most famous graffiti/ street artist Portugal as to offer.
