The Bavarian Mountains Tour departs from the Panorama Tours Bus Terminal at Mirabell Square.
The drive to the Königssee takes about 50 minutes.
Passing by the Baroque historic city center of Salzburg along the river Salzach, the route leads towards the border to Germany and into the Bavarian Alps.
Following another river, the Königsseeache, the journey passes the Marktschellenberg, the Obersalzberg and the stunning scenery of the Bavarian Alps before reaching the Königssee.
