Sintra: King of the Moon Hill Bike Tour

With the King of the Moon Hill Tour, clients will will start with a brief summary of the locations that you can visit along with an explanation of how the electric bicycles work and how to use them correctly. This tour does not include a pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. You may meet up with the tour guide at the shop SintraCan located in front of Sintra's train station. You will receive a local map of Sintra along with some information on all the monuments included in the tour and provided helmets, lockers and complimentary bottles of water.
After the briefing, the tour will begin by cycling to the historic center, this will only take about 5 minutes. Once there, the group can stop to visit Piriquita, a historic bakery in Sintra and try travesseiros, queijadas and other typical Portuguese pastries. Afterwards, the group will have the chance to visit two monuments on the inside. You can pick between Palácio Nacional de Sintra - this one is located in the historic center, Quinta da Regaleira - 10 minutes from the historic center or Palácio da Pena and Castelo dos Mouros - 15 minutes from the historic center.
The group will be accompanied by a local tour guide who is also an electric bicycle technician to help with any problems regarding the electric bicycles but also to guide the group in the monuments. You will learn the history involved with Sintra and the monuments picked by the group.
