Sintra: Cycle of Nature

With the Cycle of Nature Tour, clients will have a true understanding of the best way to explore Sintra. This tour does not include a pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. You may meet up with the tour guide at the shop SintraCan located in front of Sintra's train station. The tour will start by giving you a brief summary of the locations you will visit and the workings of the electric bicycles will also be explained and how to use them correctly. You will be provided with a local map of Sintra joined by some information of all the monuments included in the tour and provide helmets, lockers and complimentary bottles of water.
After the briefing, the tour will begin by cycling to the historic center, this will only take 5 minutes and when there the group can stop to visit Piriquita, the most famous bakery of Sintra and try travesseiros, queijadas and other typical Portuguese pastries. Afterwards, the group will have the chance of visiting one monument on the inside, you can pick between: Palácio Nacional de Sintra - this one is located in the historic center, Quinta da Regaleira - 10 minutes from the historic center, Palácio de Seteais - 15 minutes from the historic center and last but not least, Palácio de Monserrate - 20 to 30 minutes from the historic center.
The group will always be accompanied by a local tour guide and electric bicycle technician which will not only help any problems regarding the electric bicycles but also join the group during the visit in the monuments to show the best way to visit it and also to explain all the history involved with Sintra and the monument picked by the group.
